Perhaps the most essential tool any team or club needs is robust player registration along with the ability to bill easily for services, events, and merchandise as well as deal with monthly, seasonal, or event-specific pricing.
PlayBook makes it easy to set up registration, process appropriate waivers, and add players to any team or event you establish.
Besides keeping standard information on your players required for your rosters, PlayBook also allows you to add advanced stats and analytics.
EASY TO BILL AND COMMUNICATE WITH PLAYERS AND PARENTS
Once you have registered a player, billing, scheduling and notification all works in a seamless approach and eliminates the need to have separate CRM and eMail marketing software as with PlayBook you can send texts and eMails simultaneously and provides a phone App that also notifies you when a game, practice or any event is scheduled.
PlayBook’s billing features let you process credit cards or ACH payments you schedule to be sent out at any time and frequency. You can also apply various discounts, such as a sibling discount, frequent buyer incentives, or a scholarship for a player. They can even send and process redeemable coupons.
REPORTING WILL KEEP YOU ON TOP OF YOUR ACCOUNTING
In conjunction with its billing capabilities, PlayBook allows you to run significant account reports that every organization needs. This way, you will know who has paid and whether you are covering your bills.
It sounds simplistic, but many baseball club teams/organizations do little with their accounting until tax time, and PlayBook will make those tasks much more manageable.
PlayBook also expects to provide integration with Quicken/QuikBooks, which will make it turn-key for those using outside accounting tools.
Besides billing for all your fees, PlayBook also provides POS and Inventory to keep track of merchandise sales.

THE PRICE IS RIGHT
Pricing is PlayBook’s best feature. There is a monthly platform fee of $69-$89, depending on use (DEFINE use), plus 2% to 3% per transaction, which is better than PayPal and many payment gateways. And if customers pay through ACH, there is no transaction fee.
PlayBook also adds a one-time 2% to 3% fee on New Player Registration fees based on what your club or organization charges for Player Registration.
Either way, these costs can be billed back to your players.
For setup, PlayBook charges a $199 system integration fee. Optionally, PlayBook will build a website totally integrated to its platform for anywhere from $500 to $1,000, depending on requirements.
The PlayBook pricing is very reasonable if you consider that a good CRM will cost you $30 to $60 a month, and email marketing platforms like Constant Contact, MailChimp, and others can cost $$ if you have a lot of contacts and market often.
On top of that, PlayBook does not charge for email, Text, or sending to its mobile app. These features alone will easily pay for PlayBook.
